The Olympics have captured the worlds’ attention and put the 2008 Presidential race on the backburner, at least for a week. As the world watched Michael Phelps dominate as no other Olympian before him, the finish line is fast approaching for the candidates who are going to play second fiddle to both Barack Obama and John McCain. Both camps are feverishly scrutinizing and no doubt doing a little forecasting as to which Vice Presidential candidates are the best bets to give each hopeful’s candidacy a shot in the arm. Ajasteak located in the Dana Hotel screams simple and chic. The bar is divine and lined with top shelf liquors. Floor to ceiling windows add to the clean, minimalistic setting. The second level sushi bar appears to be floating creating a swanky feel. Two fireplaces and a clean slate staircase sweep the entrance. The ambiance is eclectic but not overwhelming.
