Life in China

Published by under Paul and tagged:

Taking a cold shower in the middle of winter in an apartment with no heat takes some getting used to.

That is true of many things in rural China. At first you wonder how people do it, but soon you realize that having water of any temperature is sufficient. Continue Reading »

Life as an Unsuspecting Cover Girl

Published by under Alexandra

Maybe I should befriend Victoria Beckham. We would have plenty to talk about: our athletic husbands, oversized black sunglasses, and what it’s like to be on the cover of the tabloids.

Both camps are feverishly scrutinizing and no doubt doing a little forecasting as to which Vice Presidential candidates are the best bets to give each hopeful’s candidacy a shot in the arm. My House Will Never Be a Home…

Published by under Crystal

People have been lying to me all my life.

I’m a strong, smart girl, and I didn’t deserve that.

Rude awakenings suck so, to every female eye that graces this column, I’m gonna make a promise to you today…you won’t have to travel as blindly through your existence as I have, cause I’m about to help you out.

You should probably grab a hankie. This’ll hit hard. Continue Reading »
